i'm still reading but i had to comment that it's apparent to me that you are a good soul undergoing a terrible trial, by choiceless choice, as krishnamurti says, and for all of us, and i have tears of appreciation as i read your post.
Wayne ~ You are a total inspiration to me and many others. You are an awesome leader and example of a good human being - the animals you defend are very fortunate to have you on their side. It is wise to get inspiration and strength from the animals' lives and stories. They have so much to teach us. "When you feel the suffering of every living thing in your own heart. that is consciousness" -Bhavagad Gita. Thank you for your honesty, courage and being you. If this world had more like you, we might have heaven on Earth, as it should be. Try not to despair too much. There are so many of us sending love and support. You are a bright light in a dark world. Keep on shining and fighting the good fight. Those who live are those who fight for what is right. For the animals ...
When the world recognizes compassion towards all living beings it will be primarily because of gentle but strong warriors like you. I admire not only your work and self sacrifice but the deep love and desire you have for justice. With deep gratitude I will pray for you and all those you love.
