To me, it's hard to disentangle Trump from his positions on animals. One of the things that felt particularly unjust, and false, was reversing the animal welfare rule under the federal organic program. By Trump's action, "outdoor access" could mean literally just an unused window in a factory farm. The animals deserve better, and consumers, do too.
