The animal agriculture, breading and testing industries are beginning to realize that arresting activists will only bring publicity around the trials and expose unwanted attention to their cruel and inhumane practices. They're between a rock and a hard place and losing power and dominance. A win for animal rights. It will be interesting to see how they respond to future animal rescues.
What America has become there is no word for. It was a long time ago that the first people who lived in harmony with mother earth and did not try to control mother earth, that was until the hairy beast came first to kill the Buffalo. So it is written after the first people were in slaved that came a cursed land that is today. It is also written that when the hairy beast has little left to kill and destroy that the hairy beast will be no more. Yes the good will go to rid the evil but mother earth will return again and once more will smell kike a rose.
A "reputational crisis that would cost the industry billions in profit" cannot be borne in a society where people are busy selling each other things they do not need, and profit takes precedence over moral considerations. People will balk at and protest the torture of dogs when they learn about it, causing the deserved demise of companies that breed beagles or profit from experiments performed on them.
Compounding the problem is people's ignorance: every person I have asked this week was shocked to learn that dogs are used in experimentation in the U.S. Companies hide from the public what they know the public would not tolerate, let alone fund, if experimentation were transparent.

It’s disappointing that this doesn’t get the same media attention that it did when there was a court case. The facts are still the facts and the fight is still being fought! The argument for animals to get personhood is gaining traction, as I understand. The nonhuman rights project seems to be working hard to get the court to recognize personhood for Happy the elephant. But it is a long road, it seems. Thank you Wayne for everything you do! The world is better because of you!
