What an incredible story. How all of this continues is beyond my comprehension most days but it is so extremely important to continue to do this work. Continue to rescue and continue to educate while we fight to make meaningful political change.

And while I'm glad we ultimately got everyone to a resolution they are happy with, I still can't help but think that there were opportunities we did not realize. That's probably my perfectionism talking. But it's also just the fact that, for all we achieved -- exposing gestation crates, saving lauri -- there are millions of pigs who remain trapped in cages.
