Stay sane/reasoning. Keep breathing normally! Keep stretching, exercising, reading. Meditate and do one thing at a time that sparks joy in you...brings you closer to the world we envision. There's light in each moment, and at the end of that tunnel too, wherever life brings you/us. You're a shining light for us all. I'm waiting for you with open arms (whatever may happen) as are your entourage and can't wait to see you again. If/when you find out where you'll be and drop a physical and/or mailing address, I and additional Vegan friends can write to you. I'm sure people will want to visit as well.
This is just the beginning of good. It’s not over for you and we will see a Vegan, animal-liberated world. So much of this will be thanks to your willingness to walk that walk.
You already know what the caged animals feel like which is why you've worked and continue to work for the freedom of all: it's not that you need to experience it or that it is just. Sometimes unfair things really do happen to good people who did the exact right thing without any real rhyme or reason (past life karma? Or just energy of pain or suffering that couldn't be held back from The Collective's experience (including still jailed animals) even if we wanted to do everything right and didn't want others to experience that? Speculation might not help so we can control only what we can control.): rescuing someone who was going to die otherwise and letting them live on in freedom is a beautiful thing and that GOOD karma WILL return to you! We know you care!
You're right. It will inspire sympathy from those who know that peaceful freedoms are our birthright and no one is the property of anyone else. You are your own person too and you know your worth, that you are in the right in your choice to help/rescue. Sending happy thoughts that everyone else will come to let gentle love in & discard speciesism the same way other discriminations have become widely regarded and renounced as we embrace acceptance and oneness. Please let that carry you on. /hugs
