Wayne, I am so sorry Lily passed away. Thank you for sharing some of your last moments with her.💙

And thank you, Wayne, Paul, everyone on the team that rescued her, DxE, and everyone that has taken care of her since then. I am glad that Lily got to live her life in sanctuary. 💙

Lily was an anomaly in this world. She got to live a brighter life, giving her humans a chance to show her love, and care. There is a pipeline of darkness in this world towards animals like lily, who “should have” perished in peril.

Lily contrasted this darkness, in a profound way.

Thank you for loving her.

Thank you to everyone who sees in animals what they saw in Lily in that frightening crate in 2017- the real potential for a lifelong bond.

We have to come together, stand up, take direct action and do something, so there can be more Lily’s.

Lily was an exception. But she doesn’t need to be. Not when there are so many kindhearted people in the world with the ability to do something about it.

Thank you Wayne for rescuing this little piglet and all the work you do for the betterment of these sentient beings. I’m sorry to here about Lily’s passing. I have to ask if the caregivers took the ailing pig to see a vet. I hope she did not suffer and was humanely euthanized. Thank you again for everything you do to speak up for animals. 💜

’m going to butt in here, yes her caregivers took her to the best vets, they loved her, and she was not made to suffer. They would never do that. Rip Lily

Thank you for sharing the news of Lily. Because of you and DxE she got to have a life. Your post today sent me on a hunt for more information, which I found here: https://animalequality.org/blog/2022/10/28/animal-activists-found-not-guilty-in-smithfield-rescue/ for anyone who hasn't seen the origins of Lily's story. 💜

Very sad about Lily😢my Mom rescued a baby pig who wandered onto her KY farm-The piglet grew and was called Baby Boy and came to the back door for scraps- he grew huge 4 ft or so at the shoulder and with tusks! He was very sweet but fearsome to strangers because of his size .

After 3or 4 yrs he contacted skin cancer , too- yes since they do not have natural sun protection and we’re not bred to withstand the environment he did not survive , a very sad condition which demonstrates the evil of breeding to slaughter and consume sentient beings - history will look back at the barbarians men once were and are now!

It is an unconscionable crime !

Now I see they can make something from DNA of meat that can manufacture meat without an animal! In big Vats the taste snd texture of meat can be produced without the physical animal - an idea now approved by the FDA that could end the cruelty to billions of animals and end the methane from

Factory Farms!!

I applaud your work and hope I can help spread the word 😢❤️🙏🏼
