There is not one person that has goodness inside of them or a heart for that matter that can inflict such torture suffering and pain on a dog or any other animal for that matter. The poor BEAGLES are such sweet natured and such docile animals and this is the reason they are the most used in the torture experiments. This is sickening and disgusting. Laws have to change for the protection of the animals most of us in the world love and adore. The cruel monsters who torture and cause such painful suffering to these animals should be put in prison for a very long time and they should be made to suffer also. . This is abuse plain and simple. I hope and pray every single animal in captivity that is being made to suffer is set free and the evil monsters responsible pay for it. God bless and thank you to every person who has given of themselves so freely to save these animals and who helped in the Ridgland Farm rescue I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is actively writing against this.
We also need major associations to stop endorsing.
We need to build a large committee that works together. (Lawyers, politicians, scientists, etc) I see many working on this individually. The bigger the group, the more powerful it is.
Thank you for all you do Wayne. Please feel free to reach out to me for anything. I'm an independent journalist from NYC with a lot of experience in documenting social movements and high intensity situations. I would love to offer anything I can to your mobilization efforts. Continue the good fight.
It seems to me that as the level of action increases, so too must the level of safety for participants. This does not mean that no risks will be involved, or even chosen. It means that the margin for error is ever slimmer. We saw what Ridglan did with tear gas, rubber bullets, aggressive private security etc. There's every reason to think that MBR was watching and will be even more intense.
Activist dedication and self-sacrifice are noble and laudatory, but I no more want to see a person hurt than I want to see a dog hurt. The organizers at Ridglan were well prepared but not perfectly so. I only have praise for their intentions and efforts, and I certainly could not have done better.
All I'm saying is during the buildup to MBR, I am hoping that safety is the top concern. Let's not have it lost in the justifiable passion to do anything possible.
Sorry to hear that 65 doggos are still being tortured at Ridglan. I couldn’t even finish reading the bit about subjecting those poor animals to phosgene gas.
I’ve worked at Allied Chemical Corp. and am aware of what phosgene gas does to living creatures. To use it in an experiment of questionable value is just over the top cruelty. To satisfy someone’s curiosity?
Exactly. i changed my major feom biology thinking i would become a vet to earth sciences instead because of how it becomes all about animal testing instead of any actionable health outcomes for humans. Scientists as saddhidts legitimized.
I feel sick. I am never going to recover from that image & description. I do not know how anyone can witness this for any reason, whether to do good or bad. To those who facilitate it, you are monsters. Soulless boils on the ass of humanity. But to someone who sees while undercover & attempting to blow a whistle, I absolutely bow down to you. I could not do it. I will never forget that horrible description, the thoughts. I feel sick.
i couldnt imagine doing the gas experiment to a freaking mosquito. were these employees/experimenters children once, ever??? you're doing amazing work and i know it'll grow to worldwide scale i'll be invested + supporting until the very end
As much I respect your spirited human effort to free beagles from torture, I question your thoughts on A.I.
A.I. is the greatest heist in human history. It’s the settler colonialism of our mind, body, spirit, Earth. It should be our number one objective to end A.I. before it’s too late.
Don't entirely disagree, but it seems similar to the car or fossil fuel industries. Evil systems, but it's pointless to boycott. Better to challenge the underlying systems of power!
it's never pointless to boycott. A.I. is not inevitable. Nothing irks me more than someone implying it is. Rich people/celebs/well known people telling me to use A.I. or arguing for it in any way is a close second. For one, I'd wager they don't have to live next to a Data Center. Yes, we've been challenging A.I. in every single way for years. And the people will win. At this moment - giving A.I. any ground upon which to stand is suicidal - to all animals.
I am a resident of upstate NY and am 3 hours from this horrendous facility. Am very interested in volunteering on this mission and will be at the meeting Sunday!

Thank YOU for the support, Cerise!
Thank you for all the amazingly brave, compassionate work you do.
Scott Marshall and his accomplices are sick, monstrous, evil people. How do they sleep at night? How do they live with themselves?
We have morals.....THEY don't!!
these 'Scientific Experiments' are excuses fir public grant money, - nothing else.
It's a government-funded criminal enterprise...
Why are they testing poison on dogs? It's poison. It's like all of the evil that occurred in Hitler's Germany is happening.
fear of industrial accidents
There are many levels here.

me too!!
I'm so horrified I can't see straight. How do human beings inflict such violence on a defenseless animal? I hope these people burn in hell.
And they run from who they really are with arrogance and condecension

Agreed 👍
Are there any vivisection and torture facilities in Canada similar to the ones you describe in the US?
Yes, sadly :( Last Chance for Animals did an investigation recently. Check out their work!
