while i agree with your reassessment, i'm also glad Boycott Veganism got published when it did. it added a really important perspective to the conversation, and our movements are better for having it. (i also think the articles gets a LOT more right than it doesn't; i'll be excited to see your revised version when it's ready).

Hi Wayne

I run a website called Slaughter-Free America, where, among other things, I highlight animal activists who support increased federal funding for cultivated meat research. If you fall into this category, and have the time, I’d love if you would answer the following questions.

I will use your responses to create an article or Q&A for the website. Unfortunately, with two young children, I can only do email interviews at the moment. Send your responses to JonHoch87@gmail.com.

Best,

Jon Hochschartner

1. Do you have a headshot of yourself I could use?

2. Is there anyone else you think I should interview on this topic? Do you have contact information for them?

3. Can you tell me a little bit about your involvement with the animal movement?

4. When and how did you first learn about cultivated meat?

5. How did you come to support cultivated meat?

6. Once cultivated meat is cheaper than and indistinguishable or superior in taste to slaughtered meat, what sort of impact might it have on traditional agriculture?

7. What would you say to animal activists who are opposed to cultivated meat?

8. Would you eat cultivated meat, or is it just something you want available for others?

9. Do you think activists should expend energy and resources to help advance cellular agriculture, by pushing for more government funding for cultivated-meat research?
