The corruption runs rampant in Dane County Wisconsin. The entire country and all corners of the world is now aware of the story of Ridglan farms and the corrupt government that protected them.
As with any story of animal abuse, this brought tears to my eyes. You mentioned that it was not your intent to prosecute anyone or send them to jail, and that is EXACTLY what should happen. Sheriff Barrett has shown that he has been corrupt regarding Ridglan Farms, as he did not arrest Jerry Blizzard, the son-in-law of the owner of Ridglan Farms, when he rammed his car into one of the transport vans, as well as took a knife to the tires of one of the animal activists, as well as turned a blind eye to the many laws that were broken by the Ridglan owner. It makes me sick that he was re-elected as sheriff in Dane County, after his criminal involvement with this case. If law enforcement doesn't do what is right by their citizens by enforcing the law and protecting the defenseless (he knew good and well what Ridglan Farms was doing to those poor dogs), he deserves to be prosecuted and stripped of his position in law enforcement. PERIOD. That is justice for all of the animals that were abused by Ridglan, not a promise to be a "good boy", as we all know that those are shallow promises.
Thank you! The dog fighting ring in this case was metaphorical. The real operation which was mutilating dogs was Ridglan - and there has yet to be accountability for the public officials who broke the law and returned dogs to abuse.
It supposedly has shut down. When this dog was taken back to the facility, it was still in operation.
I think my question is. Have they closed? No statement from them. What will happen to that facility and land? Will it sell to another puppy mill? Or an experimental lab? No word about that?

We need everyone in the tent to help the pups. We had a value for this rescue, "A tent so big it's a little uncomfortable" and it's part of the reason we won!

There was anger about it. Yes I agree they were abused, but this doesn’t look like something from a dog fight. It looks like it came from Ridglan. Which I’m only bringing up because I hope this pup was freed later on with the rest instead of being sold off.
We think he was freed. And the post above is a metaphor. I tried to paint the picture of the sheriff supporting a dog fighting ring to demonstrate why his conduct was not just wrong but illegal.
The police officer is appeasing the criminal, so he wouldn't be called racist. That's what is going on these days! I am so sick of the media and the appeasement to please certain groups. Abuse of humans or animals is a crime! That poor little baby will end up being murdered. Mark my words!
