I recorded a podcast today with my good friend Jon Frohnmayer, who also happens to have been my attorney in the NC trial. (His role was short lived, however, as the judge refused to grant my motion to have him serve as co-counsel. So I was forced to represent myself.)
It’s late, and I just want to provide a quick note as to why I’ve been doing less livestreaming, and more podcasting and blogging.
The podcast and blog allow me to dive deeper. Most of social media is pretty surface level. I’d like to focus on mediums that allow me to go into the nuance.
The podcast is a conversation, not a monologue. This creates a different level of engagement.
The podcast feels more “real” than social media. I’m not performing when I do a podcast. Social media, in contrast, always feels like it has an element of theater.
A lot of other reasons I’ve been making the shift. But I’m very interested in others’ thoughts on whether the change has been a good one.
