I called yesterday and Monday, sent emails to each address listed, made multiple FB ad IG posts.

Wrote emails to each address listed and also included the local news station. Maybe they can pick up the story and out some local media pressure on the police/DA.

"Hi Wayne, I sent an email regarding a media/TikTok campaign for the Ridglan beagles. I have experience in visual storytelling and want to help mobilize a 'Final Mile' push for the July 1st deadline. Looking to coordinate so my content aligns with your legal strategy."

That sounds amazing! Send an email to wayne@simpleheart.org?

So i called both numbers, the Dane county sheriff s office receptionist will stop you in your tracks and will not take messages for anyone and will give you a dedicated number that is a "dump" for messages about Ridglan's 8. It has a voicemail that says they empathize with our concerns and cannot hold on to Ridglan's property. But as Wayne's explanation, these doggies are part of what seems to be considered a crime as people were arrested, and therefore are part of the investigation but the authorities prefer to bring these cuties back to the place of torture where RIDGLAN is the Criminal. #Ridglan8

Time to write to your statewide online papers across the nation. Write and write about it all over.

sent you a request for pics by email ❤️

Hi! @Former Rep David Michel I also saw on one of the posts, people that have gotten through to the sheriffs department have been advised to contact the Wisconsin’s Deprtment of Agriculture as well as the DA as it is now in “their hands.” I see you are a former rep so I’m sure you have these but for visibility I will post for others.

@Wayne Hsiung please correct me if I’m wrong.

District Attorney - Ozanne

any recommendations on who else to include on emails? I have a decent one drafted referencing ALL of this and would love to include the masses

Former Rep David Michel's avatar

to the municipal (and county?), state and US elected officials of the district where Ridglan is located. There should be some links to find the elected officials. Disclaimer: Am a former State Rep in Connecticut.

Elle11's avatar

BUT you know some senators don’t have emails listed so I had to go the google process of elimination - google “Wisconsin state senator email format” after I got their names. Just a pain in the ***.

Also no worries, I figured you were not Wisconsin former rep and even if you were if you were in the house, you may have not had anything to do with agriculture, anywho! Appreciate it regardless.

Elle11's avatar

I found ALL of them after the fact, just took a couple of hrs! :)

Elle11's avatar

Probably not news to Wayne, but I just discovered that this Konnie Jerabek woman is the daughter of Jim Burns (the owner of Ridglan Farms), how is that NOT a conflict of interest? She works for the department of agriculture!!!!! Ugh!!!

Sandra Z's avatar

I have been on hold with the sheriff's office for 15 minutes so far, so it appears there are a few of us calling about this. Thanks so much for all you do and for letting us know how to help.

Elle11's avatar

@Sandra Z also call the WI Dept of Agriculture, being told it is now in their hands.

I rang the sheriff and pressed '8' and got the voice mail and left my message with my phone number. I hope I didn't come across as 'babel'-- https://biblicalarchaeology.org/daily/ancient-cultures/why-the-tower-of-babel-is-so-hard-to-explain/ .

Elle11's avatar

@James Greene it looks like we should also be calling the DA and the Dept of Agriculture:

District Attorney - Ismael Ozanne

608-266-4211

Wisconsin department of agriculture

number is 608-224-5012
