You would think the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) would be concerned about dogs being gassed to death with chemical weapons banned under international law, given its responsibility to enforce animal welfare laws.

The USDA just failed to respond to a letter from two New York Representatives about it. As a concerned voter, I want to know if my Senator will push the USDA to help the dogs at Marshall. What is your position, Senator: Do ends justifying means? I stand strong: Ends do not justify means for whatever alleged research is being conducted on these docile animals, who are exploited because they can't give consent, because they don't have a prefrontal cortex like ours, because they don't have opposable thumbs. It's not a level playing field, which makes this "research" sadistic. Please answer my questions in your response. Thank you.
