Seeing dogs killed for meat traumatized me as a child. Then a vision – of dogs rescued rather than slaughtered – changed everything. It could change you, too.

That empathic pain from witnessing these hidden hells can inspire what looks to outside observers as "bravery". . . but far harder than doing something about it, is doing nothing. . . . I think we've all felt that sense of relief when you finally commit to action. . . .stress is the organism not knowing what to do. . . when it finally acts there's relief of stress. . . .thanks as always Wayne, you're an inspiration.

Have you done a TED talk? I could see your story - from nightmares of despair to nightmares changed because now you are doing what you can - as a powerful TED talk.
By the way, I love the video of the peanut butter temptation working its magic on the 3 scared dogs.
I was really fighting hard on the dog meat trade then I was like were no different. They may do it out in the open and to "pets," but what do you think happens here in America in factory farms to non "pet" animals behind closed doors. It is the same BS. Here we still have rodeos, SeaWorld, etc so theres a lot of work we have to do here before we educate others. I just felt most ppl hypocritical like myself on judging another country. I feel for you with those nightmares that is trauma and PTSD and I am happy you found a way to turn that horror into strength. I had to stop watching and reading stuff cuz I'd cry every night. You still feel helpless like a solution feels so faraway. I still feel humanity is a plague and parasite on this Earth and IDK if I would ever change my mind on that. You got this Wayne. I have a good feeling you're gonna prevail. Big Huggies
