I agree. In every area of life, the capacity for compassion - founded on the capacity for empathy - is being damaged and destroyed. "I don't care" - words often signifying inner death. A good person feels when they see or hear of another hurt. A good person also need to explore, discover, including difficult facts, difficult truths - like about factory farming, like about the dangerous injections, like about ever so much. A good person, in other words, chooses to be as alive as possible.

Your optimism is through the roof. Every time we gather at different conferences I am encouraged too. The judges can't be morally wrong too many times.

What a shame this is for the Judges...

Their unjust, wrongdoing decision will just make our case stronger.

You don't need to ask yourself "what's in their hearts?" (the animal-industry plaintiffs, the prosecutors, the juries, the judges, the so-called law enforcers).

You don't even need to ask "what's in their heads?".

You only need to ask "what's in their guts?". - Answer: dead animals.

Their gut microbiomes are doing their talking and acting for them. They consider themselves "the public". They "know" the public interest. 😁

Is there any doubt if they were vegan justice would be swift and assured?

How insane this is,how bloody infuriating it is to show kindness and help the suffering but get found guilty of doing wrong !! You reap what you sow , at the right time !

You are absolutely correct about the war on compassion Wayne. There is no greater compassion than the sort that is given to beings who can never repay us, except by living their lives in peace. There is no greater immorality than seeking profit from cruelty, torture and murder. Animal rights activists stand on high moral ground while corrupt politicians, prosecutors, judges and other profiteers are floundering in their own muck and mayhem. We are nonviolent. We are simply unstoppable. Resistance makes us stronger and more determined. Physically separating us solidifies our bonds. Justice within the court systems may be dwindling . But it’s alive and well in our hearts and minds.

It's so frustrating and infuriating to see the way our elected officials (including judges) manipulate the system for corporate interests. Having little faith in the men/political leaders in America, I've taken matters into my own hands. I've created an ecological reserve where methods of regenerative agriculture are used to improve the health and well-being of keystone organisms, thereby providing a benefit to the entire ecological community and the people dependent upon the land (ie-me, as the farmer). I will keep fighting the good fight right here in Maine. Thanks for sharing your story and insight.

Whole Foods, like Walmart should be avoided like the plague. This is all about educated consumers. The planet raping corporate paradigm types rely on them.

“The first thing you notice when you go vegan is that everyone is mad, and they tell you you’re mad. You voluntarily enter the moral Twilight Zone. You discover a grotesque inconsistency between the beliefs people express and their behavior. You realize that we’re all highly irrational, and that it’s emotion that rules culture, and culture rules the behavior of individuals. No matter how much harm it causes, nothing we do needs to be justified as long as it’s popular enough.” - Karen Manfrede
