Thank you Wayne for the update. I do despair particularly right now over the rest of the Ridglan dogs. I pray they all get out. Wish I had a lot of money to make an offer they couldn’t refuse. Wish I were younger so I could fight on the ground for them. Keep fighting for your legal rights. I pray you and the others are successful there too.
Wayne you should consider getting what’s called a Supervisory Order from the Wisconsin Supreme Court if they suspend your right to a speedy trial demand.
Thanks, Wayne. I'm hoping there is justification for your optimism.
And yet, I feel that we can't conflate positive change in North America with change in other parts of the world. It's a big world out there and animal suffering has no national boundaries.
"A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast," says Proverbs 12:10. What has overcome us that regard for the health and rights of migrant detainees is currently a matter of controversy, as seen at this rally outside Delaney Hall in Newark, N.J., last Saturday, particularly at 57 minutes to an hour 2 in, in this video?-- https://youtube.com/watch?v=QZUzzgPe3oY . Could the answer be a sort of 'positivity' and mindset that denies the validity of emotional engagement in whatever we do as actors in a colonial drama?-- https://ted.com/talks/susan_david_the_gift_and_power_of_emotional_courage .
Wayne, you are a hero. Thank you for guiding so many people on this journey to end animal testing. I am ready and waiting to help in whatever way(s) that I can.
