With luck, Sheriff Barrett is alarmed enough at the prospect of more than 1500 non-violent activists descending on Dane County willing to risk arrest that he is in talks with Ozanne and the other higher-ups, and that they will be *strongly* urging Ridglan to shut down and allow the dogs to be adopted out before we even get there.
Oh please oh please let this all unfold as planned. To suggest that any of this is acceptable because it falls within existing statutes is to ignore the responsibility we ALL share to evolve beyond outdated practices that permit harm under the shameful guise of research.
One thing that Iβm very curious about. Why is the April date being revealed publicly? Will this not set the opposition wheel in motion? Wonβt this make the rescue that much more difficult with more police, resistance, etc? Or is it because of transparency?
Do they really expect that there will be no one waiting for them there? I donβt understand why they project a future date for action and give the enemy time to prepare for their arrival? This just seems all backwards to me. I am assuming that they have a strategy that I donβt understand and Iβm also going to assume that they know what youβre doing since they are experienced with this. Iβm just a bit baffled by the logic. I wish someone could explain it.
Hello, don't quote me, but my understanding is that this type of 'open rescue', as opposed to the old midnight raids in balaclavas, is about public openness and transparency.. It is based on the principle of the 'right to rescue', both moral and legal.. In this case there is a solid legal argument for the removal of these dogs and the planned action is simply enforcing what the authorities have failed to do.. but like a citizens arrest I guess x
Yes exactly, the transparency is an important factor in gaining public support.. also there is a strong legal case here for enforcing the removal of these dogs, which the authorities have failed to act on.
OK I understand then. I just wonder if they will have people armed against them when they arrive? This really scares me but I admire these brave rescuers more than I can even believe!
DA TIM GRUENKE....YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED AND YOUR CORRUPTION AND EVILNESS IS GOING TO BE EXPOSED AND THE PART YOU PLAYED IN THE TORTURE OF THE PRECIOUS ANIMALS AT RIDGLAN FARMS YOU SOB!!!!!π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘
.... surely the DA has a file under Ridglan Farms with that Request for Prosecution in it and surely he has pulled that file out over the recent period?
Ha, you would think. Has someone looked at their financials? Are they getting paid off? That needs to get exposed. I keep hoping they (Internet π π€) see this message.
I read the reported conversation. I could be wrong here but I got the distinct impression that Wayne was explaining the law to the βlaw enforcementβ people. And very well done. Itβs all there in the conversation but they want him to do a written explanation as well.
They say their main concern is for the safety of everyone and that they can exercise their first amendment right, without saying that you have the right to rescue the dogs from the miserable lives theyβve been given.
What I SAW was LE protecting what they saw as β propertyβ and protecting the criminal enterprise
BUT THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE. May God turn the hearts of stone into love and peace.

The sheriff having the time of day for this all of the sudden seems like a great sign to me

Thanks Lynne! Thatβs what I thought too. ππΎ
Sorry, bit like a citizens arrest :)

Thank you Jesus π. Justice will prevail π€
Iβm thinking of everyone going back
To help. I canβt believe Wisconsin DA. It's so frustrating. I hope no one backs the Sheriff's re-election.
You are a hero! Thank you for all you are doing! I wish I could be there to help rescue these poor dogs but I am with you in spirit!π€π
One cannot unhear the desperate cries of dogs awaiting love.
Please please all go as planned
That the goals of this movement are "materializing" needs to be contrasted with the immaterial goals imposed on us by forces in history and technology-- https://commonwealmagazine.org/wittgenstein-apocalypse-ludwig-stern-ai-artificial-intelligence-technology , https://rooseveltinstitute.org/blog/somehow-theyre-allowed-to-buy-all-these-homes-how-detroit-tenants-are-taking-on-crypto-backed-landlords/ .

hmmm, did I miss the bit where they got the immunity from prosecution argument from, seemed to be rather quickly deflected?
LFG!!! β€οΈβπ₯πΎ

Way to go, everyone. Best wishes from Newfoundland, Canada.
