Hello Wayne. I am happy that your out of jail. You definitely have my support and so many others. We will win. We need to push forward to release all the dogs. And yes when injustice becomes law, resistance becomes our duty. We are making History. #UntilEveryCageIsFree ❤️
It takes time to for D do all this commenting, so there is likely a tendency and maybe an intent which needs to be clarified in terms of the values that are being weighed in the courts.
So please explain what doing the “real work” entails, with some of your tried and true methods. And also why shouldn’t activists employ many different tactics?
It's hilarious that you demand answers to your questions while providing none to mine.
The real question is when do you have the brains or courage to disagree? And what becomes of those disagreements. I've already seen your crowd downplaying any disagreements, even within your camp. That's why you live in an echo chamber.
Try talking to people. You would literally be better off using Ingrid Newkirk's tactic of dating nonvegans, converting them, and breaking up to do it again. Try copying the Mormons and maybe you'll have a state that backs you. Knock on some doors and have some babies.
The real question is when do you have the brains or courage to disagree? And what becomes of those disagreements. I've already seen your crowd downplaying any disagreements, even within your camp. That's why you live in an echo chamber.
Attacking demand. If a law made animal agriculture illegal tomorrow, the nation would be criminals that no one would prosecute bc they'd be criminals as well. Stop being lazy. I'm not your average troll, Chad.
Wasn't the court case filled with dialogue? Jury trial was chosen to try to appeal to the members of the jury's conscience. It failed. The jury voted resoundingly against Wayne and Zoe. Plea Deal Priya Sawhney knows and that's why she earned her name. Again...how many of you have swayed your family and friends to view animals differently? Again...Wayne's fucking father is a vivisectionist as well. Clean your home.
Afa Sahwney goes, the court signalled they were 'out to ''get'' Wayne' and avoid King, and there's a good chance --- lmk --- that Sawhney thought the vengeance wd backfire by focussing on Wayne. The arguments coming up should bear this focus out. The da's approach involved so much ad hominem that her absence likely improved the focus of the learning experience that has ensued. This is not about personal status, privilege or vengeance, but values and Way of Life.
I was not there in either trial, but the exchanges there that I learned of were tightly limited by judges' rules, so not the main body of dialogue that will prove adequate; a larger, rounder, more popular dialogue is under way.
Look in the mirror. Then look in Webster's to see your picture. Didn't your yearbook photo say: "Most likely to become a serial killer"? Compassionless, diabolic👺monsters👹 like you are exactly what's wrong with this world. WAYNE IS A HERO!
No...delusional followers that can't think for themselves such as yourself are everything wrong with this world. Just be a coward and shut your bitch ass up.
I’m very relieved that you’re out of jail and are able to attend the trial, Wayne. The heart of the matter, whether animals have an interest in being rescued from suffering, seems so clearly evident that they do. Arguing that animals are cellular matter is so wrongheaded that it’s almost funny. But denying animals the necessity defense is outrageous. I and all animal rights supporters hope for a correct decision. No matter tomorrow’s outcome, we will not stop until all animals are free! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Interesting timing on the heels of last weekend's widely publicized rescue attempt at Ridglan Farms. At the very least, if your case gets media attention, it will keep the momentum going. And I don't mean by you getting a harsh sentence! I think the wind is in your favor.
Jon, the Trump administration is working on eliminating testing on animals--it's not PR. "The Trump administration has actively pursued reducing and ending animal testing, specifically aiming to eliminate all mammalian study requests and funding by 2035. Key actions included $150 million for human-based research, a military ban on dog/cat testing, and EPA initiatives focusing on alternative, non-animal testing methods (NAMs)." Humane World for Animals
As a 25-year animal rescuer, I have seen and continue to see the uphill battle in protecting innocent animals from testing and abuse. It has and continues to be a long road. We animal lovers need to work together, not get bogged down in the crazy politics. I admire Wayne and the teams on the ground, and I see that these tactics draw attention to the cause. But like it or not (and I, like many others, don't like it), our greatest movement in the animal causes comes from working with our lawmakers to change the laws and to educate the public. They say that animal rights people cannot get along--let's prove them all wrong.
Bfp.org is Beagle Freedom Project. They bought a big farm in Oklahoma for Beagles they rescue from labs and also from meat markets in Asia. They also rescue other animals as well.
Colleges also are to blame like Texas A&M that also do horrible things to animals.
Law is one front of effort. It can change conditions for animals, and it can change habits that have gone unquestioned by humans, letting them experience other ways of living, e.g., getting food. But the other ways of living must have value that solves the damage done by behavior control imposed by others en masse. A lot of abuse is due to parental, teacher, govt imposition of behavior, imposition that is not accepted, is unfair, unhealthy or not justified, or not understood or not explained. A good question regarding Trump would be, how does his tendency here compare with his view of his son's duck hunting in Italy?
You make good points. In our 25 years of animal rescue, we have seen the best of people and the worst of people. And honestly, we have seen much more good than bad. But what we have to do is get laws changed in our country, and this will take a strong, concerted effort from animal lovers. And this is the problem. Most rescue groups and animal rights organizations do not even agree with each other. I worked on a city-wide effort years ago in Houston, TX. Free spay/neuter/vaccinations in low income areas. The group was supported by the Houston Mayor, Annise Parker, and it ended up moving Houston to No Kill status over several years. Even now, Houston is a different city where feral cats and homeless dogs are concerned. This project, named Healthy Pets/Healthy Streets included representatives from the local government, from several shelters and rescue organizations, from community leaders, from schools, from businesses. We walked the neighborhoods each week to meet the residents and help them with their pets. Each of these groups had different ideas on how to organize the effort, which neighborhoods to target, how to best reach the residents and convince them to fix their pets, on how to handle TNRed cats, etc. The head of the initiative did an amazing thing--he got ALL of us to agree to certain basic premises and approaches. Because in the end, ALL of us had the goal of saving animals. This was the only time in my entire rescue experience where I have seen animal organizations work together. Together, we achieved amazing results. This is what I hope that Wayne can achieve. Unfortunately, we all have to put aside our "pet" wishes, like eliminating hunting, or dog breeding, or eating animals and focus on the big picture--eliminating animal abuse/testing, providing free spay/neuter/vaccination, creating laws to protect all pets. If we can bring all animal lovers together, we would be the country's largest and most powerful "PAC."
That Houston story is awesome and the in person conversation effort there is exactly what I'm talking about as problem solving versus imposed behavior control. To me, what Wayne is doing is making brutality that has been forcefed all around a topic of conversation about lifeways.
I back you Wayne and everything you stand for!! What they do to these beagles makes me sick I have a beagle they are loving and great dogs! Very intelligent
If the necessity defense does not yet apply to animals, it will.
It now beggars belief that we once had the "Three-fifths Compromise" in the U.S. (re: who "counts" as worthy of consideration). As we grow in understanding, we can extend what some may consider largesse to all.
Organisms with intentions, desires and an aversion to noxious stimuli are no more "cellular matter" than they are "a dented can."
Earth is a center of gravity constituting a basis where cosmic processes and materials interact closely resulting in Life. This roughly defines the word 'Nature'. As far as Nature thus defined is the basis on which humans better their harmonization with Nature, Nature is recursive, inevitable --- right --- and should be viewed as Right. Nature supports and consists partly of many individual personal lives, thus is a Meta-Person or Quasi-Person and should be viewed as having enough Personhood-Right to Exist.
If dogs are “things” why are there rescues for them? The rescues (501c3 that rescue the dogs from shelters that need them, from streets, from abuse cases, etc! I know they classify as “property” but you gotta get a law passed shows they are not property when they are abused as such, we have a law called Ethan’s law here in Kentucky to help abused animals! His owner adopted Ethan from Kentucky humane society when Ethan was abused left for dead on sidewalk at the KHS. Ethan was given this name (Ethan almighty) look him up on fb!! His own got a senator to help him get a bill passed a law to protect animals as felony and it finally passed!
Dogs are living, breathing animals, they bleed, cry and feel pain they aren’t property or things! This is BS!! You need many beagle rescues backing you all over the US! Reach out to this one on fb called Guardians of rescue they help the helpless, injured, abandoned, tortured, used, etc of animals to make it better for them! Many are BYB situations hoarders etc they rescue these dogs from bad situations. They are a big organization out there. Maybe they’ll join your cause. You need the big ones
They should not be tested on either same for cats, goats, sheep. And rats and mice! No animal should be used as experiments! I once touched a pig who was crying real tears once and the pug had feelings same as you and me they aren’t just pigs! They feel the same as we do they feel pain and cry the same!
I want to better understand why the beagles aren't being released and that awful Ridgland farms shut down? According to the judge, he found probable cause for animal abuse yet the "special prosecutor", Ridgland farms and the Dane county Sheriff's seemed to have made a "deal" for Ridgland farms to surrender their breeding license in order to avoid CRIMINAL prosecution. What does that license have to do with abusing those dogs? and how can a deal be made like this? Im thinking because ridgland farms and sheriffs have something going on that we don't know about. They were found guilty of animal abuse so what's really going on and then, giving them till July to surrender their license, the license to breed? So, do they have a license to abuse? Because this is what it's all about and to free these beagles.
Wow. This chat between Dougy and his detractors sure is interesting. As always, I am pretty sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle, the Golden Mean, the Middle Way.

False. You're stoking your own ego bc you're too lazy to do the real work needed to win hearts and minds.
What is the real work, Dougy?
Dougy just disagrees with everyone for fun, but never has any other reason.
It takes time to for D do all this commenting, so there is likely a tendency and maybe an intent which needs to be clarified in terms of the values that are being weighed in the courts.
Not to be funny but no, I don't.
So please explain what doing the “real work” entails, with some of your tried and true methods. And also why shouldn’t activists employ many different tactics?
Also...multiple tactics used to be employed but now it's just a bunch of morons following Wayne and Zoe. Two out of touch rich kids playing socialist.
It's hilarious that you demand answers to your questions while providing none to mine.

Of organizing a couple hundred people, lying about the numbers (bc why not), and rescuing a whopping 0 dogs? I'm truly not.
Attacking demand. If a law made animal agriculture illegal tomorrow, the nation would be criminals that no one would prosecute bc they'd be criminals as well. Stop being lazy. I'm not your average troll, Chad.
Dougy:
Agreed. You're the slimiest sewer scum of trolls. SLAUGHTER TROLLS, NOT ANIMALS!
Because I told you to attack demand? Sounds legit. Please continue to promote more violence while claiming to be peaceful. 🤣
It won't happen tomorrow. It's going to happen --- however --- after an interval filled with dialogue
Wasn't the court case filled with dialogue? Jury trial was chosen to try to appeal to the members of the jury's conscience. It failed. The jury voted resoundingly against Wayne and Zoe. Hey Dougy:
Moron?

You've got me! Did we graduate together???
When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.
So true!

AMEN!.. & factory farming is obsolete ❤️
How many of the activists involved with Ridglan give a damn about factory farming? Get your base together idiot.
Im an animal activist that was at Ridgeland and angry about factory farming Dougy.
Will the arguments be live-streamed?
Wish I liveed in SF. Would be there! Good luck. After we conquer Cal and Wisconsin, Texas animals really need help.
Weust continue to fight for the unseen, the vulnerable!

It doesn't.
In 2019, President Trump signed the Animal Abuse Law. I just wrote him a lengthy email to do more to end animal abuse and testing. Hope it gets to him
Jim D
It won't.
PR only

No, you don't sound insane. Not. At. All.
I learned all that from California
