I'm writing from Canada, with my wishes that Wayne and activists succeed in their rescue and PR efforts.

I can see the look of terror on that poor dog’s face. Thank you for helping them, Wayne! I will call the number and express my concerns and I hope everyone else does as well.

I am very concerned for the dogs you've just rescued. Won't the police seize them from you and return them to Ridglan. How will you stop the police and take them to safety?

I rang in to Dane County 'dispatch' and the guy heard me out and sounded positive though he said it's a matter for prosecutors to decide and there's a need for ambulances to go out and pick up some injured parties, but he understands that rescue of animals being abused is not a crime except for property considerations. It sounds like they're getting a lot of calls. It's not like I had a better thing to do than to get out there and join you somehow. I've just got to feel like I'm all there and not being a burden, plus I'm leery of walking into an airline terminal and/or taking a bus involves some commitment which I can find easier on a trip up to Albany. I'm glad you could find some people though.

"Property considerations"! Humans are rotten to the core. And what if you're not an "owned" animal? If there were a god, God help you!
